We are looking for a Park Duty Operative, whose role will involve opening and unlocking parks in the Norwich City Area, unlocking toilets, unlocking changing rooms, litter picking and emptying bins. Parts of this role will require additional activities such as completing playground safety checks, erecting football nets and taking payments for sports activities such as tennis and pitch and putt. This role is essential in maintaining and ensuring Norwich Parks are kept to the best standard possible.
The post holder will have the ability to work as part of a team and under their own initiative, have excellent skills in customer care and the ability to communicate effectively, the post holder must be able to work in all weather.
Knowledge of Health and Safety related issues, COSHH, Manual Handling and a cleaning driving license is essential for the role.

We are looking for a Streets and Grounds Operative who will join our service-driven street cleansing and grounds maintenance team focusing on helping to maintain and improve the standard of streets, parks, open spaces and housing areas based Norwich. This role will also involve grounds Maintenance in various Norwich City Centre locations.
As part of this role the postholder will be required to drive various vehicles within the scope of the appropriate license, therefore a full UK driving license is essential for this role.

Job Description
We are looking for a Streets and Grounds Operatives to join our street cleansing and grounds maintenance team that focuses on maintaining the standard of streets, parks, open spaces, housing areas and highway verges in the Norwich area.
The job duties of this role include:
As part of this role the posholder may be required to drive various vehicles, therefore a full UK driving license is essential for this role.
Due to the nature of this role, you will work in multiple locations in Norwich and will come into contact with the general public, therefore customer experience will be beneficial to ensure that we are delivering a quality and efficient service.
This role will require you the postholder to undertake activities such as empyting bins and litter picking therefore demonstrable experience in a physical role will be beneficial.

Hours: 37 Hours per week
Salary: £26,572.98 per annum, increasing to £28,221.25 upon successful completion of LGV
Within this role you will be part of a small team of Aborists and will provide tree maintenance operations over a range of specific activities to ensure that the tree maintenance and arboricultural standards are maintained throughout or clients sites.
Within this role, the postholder will be responsible for organising the deployment of vehicles, plant machinery and hands-on co-oridnation of special works and operations therefore a full UK driving license is essential. It is desirable for the postholder to hold a Category B+E Driving License/ LGV and pay will be amended to reflect this, training will be provided for this if the postholder does not hold this currently.
The postholder is also required to hold City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 for Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting, Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm, Tree Climbing and Rescue and a Level 3 award in Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw using Free-Fall Techniques.
Due the nature of the role, the postholder may be working as part of a team or under their own initivative, therefore experience in aerial and ground tree work is essential and experience in performing areial rescues if required.
The postholder must be willing to undertake training and successfully complete C1+E Entitlement within 6 months from the date of appointment if not otherwise currently held.

We are looking for an Electrician who will carry out fault finding, diagnosis, appropriate repairs and new electrical installation work on Norwich City Council Properties. This is a varied role and the postholder will need to have the ability to adapt to different working conditions and be able to work individually or as part of a team.
The post holder will need to have City & Guilds Electrical Qualifications or an equivalent recognised apprenticeship, City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition wiring regulations, a full UK Driving License and willing to be clean shaven, if applicable, for the role.
The role will require the post holder to interpret electrical schematic diagrams, reports and drawings therefore extensive experience in a domestic or electrical trade will be beneficial. Alongside this it is essential that records are up to date and accurate to ensure that we are providing the best possible service and making informed decision based on the relevant information so analytical and report writing skills will be needed for this role.
