We are looking for a supervisor to conduct supervisory and inspection works on Norwich City Council domestic properties. This position may require lone workings while on visits so travelling within the local area of Norwich is essential. Therefore a Driving license is needed for this role.
As a supervisor you will lead a team of individuals with day to day operational line supervision, management, technical guidance and performance management so extensive supervisory/management experience is required. The post holder will hold a relevant certificated trade qualification or proven relevant work experience.
Due to the nature of the role, the post holder will have a proficient level of knowledge in roofing and roofing systems and how these apply when working at height.

We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative under or cleaning team to carry out specific cleaning duties such as:
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to delivering high-quality cleaning service to customer, undertaking specified training and development as required, complying with health and safety regulations and abide by the health and Safety training provided.
We are looking for an individual who has previous cleaning experience, a full driving licence, excellent attention to detail and good timekeeping and communication skills.

Term Time: 39 weeks, 12.5 hours Monday to Friday
Non Term Time: 13 weeks, 5 hours Tuesday and Friday
We are looking for a Cleaning Operative to work varied hours over term and non-term time. Within this role, you will undertake cleaning at contracted locations, with areas of cleaning including showers, kitchens, meeting rooms, office areas and toilets. Due to the nature of the position, previous experience within a similar role is required.
You will, on occasion need to report faulty machinery and any cleaning difficulties to supervisors, therefore having excellent communication and the ability to understand verbal and written instructions is key to ensure that we are providing the best service possible.
Under this role you will be part of a team of cleaners who are varied over multiple areas across Norwich, because of this you will be required to work individually and as part of a team to clean the allocated areas to the required standard.
We are looking for an individual to join our service-driven street cleansing and grounds maintenance team. This role focuses on maintain and improving the standard of streets, parks, open spaces, housing areas and highway verges around Norwich on the fixed schedule agreed with our partners Norwich City Council.
As part of this role, the post holder will be responsible for carrying out general street cleansing, littering picking and bin emptying duties at various locations across Norwich. Therefore a full UK driving licence and demonstrable experience of working in a physical role is essential.
As part of this role you will work alongside colleagues and have the potential to come into contact with the general public, as a result, evidence of having worked as part of a team and customer service experience will be beneficial for this role.
As part of this role, the post holder will be required to carry out daily checks on vehicles and equipment before first use, consequently we are looking for an individual who has the ability and willingness to be trained on and subsequently use all mechanical and maintenance equipment required.
This role is based over a Monday to Friday period.
As part of this role, the post holder will be responsible for towing a trailer and quad bike spraying as well as driving various vehicles within the scope of the appropriate licence. We are looking for an individual who holds a full driving licence (Category B and E).
The postholder will be required to undertake grounds maintenance activities such as Hoeing, Sweeping, Pruning, Hedge Cutting and grass cutting therefore demonstrable experience of working in a physical role will be essential for this position as well as having the ability to utilise mechanical and maintenance equipment.
While undertaking the day-to-day responsibilities of this role, the postholder may work alongside colleagues within the same team so teamworking skills and the ability to understand written and verbal communication is vital to this role.
